hi guys and gals planning bella 4 the first time this year and was wondering wt its like compared to othr festivals such as how big it is how friendly it is and wt like the campsite is thanks

Ok here we go.

I don't know what other festivals you've been to, but it holds about 12,000 and a different vibe to T, rockness, etc no doubt helped by the fact that people can take their (younger) kids in for free.

The campsite is split into quiet, general & family area (I'm told there is a difference between family and quiet but I don't know for sure).

I really like it and have no doubt you will too. My mate Jim went to it for his first festival last year and really wants to go this year.

If your looking for a complete blast out get off your face whilst everyone else does then Bella isn't the place to do so, Bella has a laid back vibe with a diverse range of festie goers and an even more diverse range of music and performing arts.

I have been calling it the Mini glasto of the north now for some time and it seems to fit this description quite well.
