How easy will it be to get tickets for Glasto 2011

Am 45 and have never been to Glastonbury festival, yes I know shame on me. If I take day off work when the tickets for Glastonbury 2011 come on sale in October and immediately start ringing etc, what are my chances of getting a ticket?

Take the day off, call the number whilst trying to go through the website. Go through with whichever one you get through with first, probably the website. Shouldn't take too long. As long as you are willing to put in the effort, you'll be sure to get a ticket.

Got my ticket reserved fairly easily last time on-line, it did break down a couple of times. took about 10 minutes in all. I guess it's the luck of the draw.

Good luck. The t-day experience can be stressful but in the end it usually works out OK. You'll find lots of helpful, supportive people on here who will be able to help with weblinks, phone numbers etc. I'm sure everyone who really wants a ticket will get one!

All of the people you are buying for will need to be registered and have submitted a photo.

Thanks for your reply, I can do the photos and register them, but upon ticket day do i say have an option to buy 3 and just put their usernames down? Or do i have to purchase a ticket 3 separate times? Thanks!

I was 46 when I went to my first Glasto. Doesn't matter, just do it.

One more key thing to keep in mind is that you will need to use a debit card for the transaction, and if you've got one of those stupid card verification things make sure you know the password. I almost killed myself last year when I got all the way through and couldn't use a credit card. Fortunately I got the debit card in time and was OK.
