2009 saw Biffy Clyro and Placebo play RockNess.

In 2010 we had Enter Shikari with smaller rock acts like Twin Atlantic and Flood of Red.

Whats peoples thoughts on 2011? Do people even want a more rocky act at the festival?

Personally I like having a bit of distortion at a festival and wouldn't mind seeing Limp Bizkit appear or perhaps The Dead Weather?

I suggested this earlier, the feckin Stooges would be perfect for RockNess, they would tear up the main stage. Feck Coldplay, a bunch of whingers singing about algebra, its hard to distinguish them from a group like Keane, the big festivals can keep them. The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs would be a good rock out too.

Totally agree with Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I think they should get booked anyway.

Stooges is a good shout. What about Feeder? Not to headline, but to play before the headliner or something.

Doing one in Oz in August and they have a bit of a tour and the website is meant to be getting an overhaul.

Just think they would be great for rockness.

If the yeah yeah yeahs don't play or even if they do then someone like clap your hands say yeah, the hold steady or even cold war kids alongside would be great.

I'd like lots of the suggested acts including QOTSA, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ash or The Pixies. There will probably be a Welsh rock act or two in there. Everone seems to be Welsh currently .

for bands, i always thought MGMT would be great for rockness but they were dire at glasto so i've changed my mind on that one.

i'd love to see ash, feeder, art brut and 1990s.
