Possible problem with forum page display

Could well be just me and Ye Olde 'Puter as per usual but I've recently noticed a strange issue on the forum pages using Firefox V3.5.9/10 on WinXp although I'm not sure exactly how long it's been happening. It's certainly been happening for several days at the very least tho. and nothing that I know of has changed at this end in several months !

It doesn't seem possible to click on anything to the right of the main forum display any more i.e. anywhere in the area where the news scroller and vertical Ad banners go. Clicking on an Ad placed there to launch it or on one of the news items to jump directly to the relevant news page has no effect. I don't even get the cursor changing from a bar to the finger. Seems just fine using a very old version of IE that I still have lying around tho and it always used to be OK in Firefox V3.5.x as well because I've clicked on Ads and news items many times before but it just doesn't seem to work now for some strange reason. There is no problem at all with any of the other clickable links/redirects elsewhere on the page or with anything in a similar position on other eFests pages either. Clicking on the vertical banner Ads or whatever on the eFests home page or news pages for instance does exactly what's expected. Screen size is 1024x768 in case that's relevant.
