Next Announcement

Seems as if there is a lull with regards to the festival at the minute.

I was just having a look at last years website to see when the announcements were made. It seems the next announcment should come around July 30th and it will probably be the BBC Introducing stage.

Announcments seem a bit more structured this year, last year they did have major updates but then they would name another band here and there.

Run down of major announcments

2009 /2010

31 March - First Announcment /29 March - First Announcment

28 April - Lock Up /13 April - Lock Up, Dance

26 May - Most of Main and NME /25 May - Finish of main and NME

09 June - Festival Republic /14 June - Festival Republic

15 June - Dance

30 July - BBC Introducing

10 Aug - Alternative & Dance to the Raido(leeds only)

So we still have at least 2 weeks without an announcment judging by this.

I know its early but my countdown has already begun.
