FARMER PHILS FESTIVAL

I went a couple of years ago as its just down the road and had a great time. Really friendly place although its very very small so dont go expecting your usual festival set up. Its a thousand people camping in a field with a revolving cow shed for a stage :) The valley itself is beautiful and some great views are available if you want to take a stroll around the locality.

Food was good and the beer tent was awesome stocked with some good ales and ciders and all at a very decent price. Take good note of where you camp though - its not lit so at night its a darker shade of black everywhere!

Phil has a little brook at the bottom of the valley where a lot of people take modded 4x4 vehicles for a monkey around so there are a few petrol heads there. Just keep your eyes open when walking about on the main roads. Its a good laugh watching them all get stuck and try to tow each other out, usually resulting in tractor rescue. Its also handy if it rains (and my god it rained when we were there) as there is a fleet of people helping you out of the field ;)

All in all well worth a visit and its good value too. Phil loves his music so although you may not have heard of all of the bands they will no doubt be well recieved. He is a top bloke too!

It will be different but you will have a good time :)

I went to this festival first time last year. We've been looking forward to this year ever since! The bands are all relatively small and there is one stage and a tent, but the atmosphere and diversity of music is amazing! By the end of the weekend you know everyone on the site and the prices aren't bad either! One of the best
