Touching on the affordability of artists, is this a reason why there are rumours R&L and everywhere are struggling for headliners this year? Eminem was paid $1.5m for a 5 minute social media video where he endorsed Harris. Considering the festival earns around £15.5m gross across both sites in ticket sales, I'd assume he would charge significantly more for 2 x 1 hour performances. But even at the rate he charges for a political endorsement, that would cost 8% of the total ticket sales pre-tax and utilities. The point being would the festival be able to afford artists like Eminem anymore? -
