I find it hard to imagine anyone could listen to The XX album back to back with Wild Beasts' Two Dancers and say The XX is better. They have a similar sound, but the XX are a lot thinner and more tedious. The XX sound a bit like students who can't really play or write songs trying to sound cool and be like Wild Beasts...

'Intro' is the best track on it by a million miles. Bought it not long after it came out but just couldnt get into it. Just listen to a couple of tracks from it now. Not the worst winner of the mercury music prize, but not the best either.

i think it should be either a debut album or the first breakthrough album for an artist (like anthony).
