I had similar problems though, which I'm sure I've expressed here before, and, to be honest, I assumed that route was permanently closed. It caught me out on the wednesday, then again on one of the main days. Neither were particularly busy times in the area. Is that the reason it was closed then? Crowd issues?
I hate Paul McCartney and could do without him turning up at another Bruce show!
mate of mine had inside info that Bruce was gonna be onstage with him at Glastonbury the other year... and I just couldnt bring myself to be that close to McCartney!!
I did hear it tho - by coincidence Bruce started playing exactly as I was walking out of the Acoustic stage and you could hear it perfectly from there.
...could also be the point where any links to Trump might be a bit of a problem...calling Mr Farage (who has already called for Ukraine to be let into NATO cause he's not stupid).
I've seen a few BTR full album shows... the only one I remember specifically was in Sweden... but I know I've seen a few.
Meeting... into Jungleland is just pure magic.
last time I was lucky enough to see it was in Asbury Park last year.
there was a period a few years back when he played BTR and BITUSA full albums quite regularly.
there was also a show in Kilkenny (I think) where he NEARLY played all of WIESS.
If I had one wish for a song to hear this year it would be Incident...
I have been lucky enough to see it live, but only once, and I will admit that when I saw it I did not quite realise the importance of of what I was seeing (overall, I'm not really a fan of WIESS)... but I love that song, and if I could have anything it would be that.
edit: actually he didn't nearly play all of WIESS at all - for some reason I always think that, and always say that when I think about that show because he played Wild Billys Circus Story and for some reason that always makes me think yeah it was the whole album!
doh.
