hi all going to register for glasto next year but wondering on process do line up and tickets come out together, if we buy tickets but dont like line up whats chances of selling tickets ect?

The tickets will probably go on sale early October and no, you will not know the line up at that point. The full line will not be revealed until late spring. Up to that point consider everything as either wild speculation or unconfirmed.

To avoid dissapointment buy the ticket for the festival experience as a whole. Do not buy for a specific act. Just ask any U2 fans why that is important.

As for selling your ticket, it is very difficult as it will have your picture and address lasered onto it. Placing it on ebay often gets it removed just to add to your incovenience.

However, you will be able to cancel your ticket up to early May (before it is posted to you) for a refund minus your booking fee.

In summery, only buy your ticket if you are 99% sure you want to and are able to attend.

just to confirm the above comments, if you want to sell your tickets because of a dodgy lineup then you'd be better of not buying tickets in the first place. Glasto is much much more than the main stage music. Myself and many included would still buy tickets at double the price even with Billy Ray Cyrus playing all the time on all the stages!

It is a lot more than simply who is headlining the main stages. If you go next year you'll find out. But don't make that decision based on who you think may be playing.

It took until June 30th When i got back this year,

for my friend who moaned that Leeds and T and everything had a better lineup than Glasto, to realise what he'd missed out on.

It then took him slightly longer until he saw Muse on the Box at T, to realise how better glasto was, regardless of the bands.

Now he's coming 2011.
