SOLAM Festival

Well, we know it's Sonisphere's weekend and loads of you will be watching all those brilliant bands there, BUT.....If you can't afford tickets for that and live anywhere near Chippenham/Swindon/Calne of would travel for a great mini festival, please come & check out the Summer of Love and Music Festival http://www.summerofloveandmusicfestival.net/ It's at the Lysely Arms, on the A4 London Road, Pewsham, between Chippenham & Calne.

We have two stages, a main outdoor stage and an acoustic stage in the coach house. We have 40 bands and artists over the two days and we've booked the sunshine, now all we need is you!

This will be the second SOLAM, the first last year was a great success and we hope to top that this year. All the bands are top class "Local" talent (Some are coming from further afield too). Please don't make the mistake of thinking this is a small-town festival, it's not, you will be astounded by the quality of these bands.

Camping is available at £5 per night but needs to be pre-booked and the admission is only £5 per day for all that music! You can buy entry on the gate so just rock along and enjoy the weekend! All details are on the website, check it out!

Solam has the feel of a real festival, the way they used to be before they got huge, come along and soak up the atmosphere £10 for 40 bands, you can't match that value anywhere else and it all goes to the Shelter Charity!

Also there is a free open mic session on the Friday (30th) so if you want to come early, bring your instruments (sorry no drums for this bit) come along from 8pm. PA, keyboard, guitar and some other instruments are provided or bring your own! We have DI boxes for electro-acoustics etc. The acoustic stage is being run by the 4014 project http://4014.homestead.com/index.html
