Freelance Whales only have one album released this year (Weathervanes). Ra Ra Riot also only have one (The Rhumb Line) although their new one is slated for release just before the festival.

With Wolf Parade, it's gotta be Apologies To The Queen Mary, their best album by a country mile. I'd buy Welcome To The Night Sky by Wintersleep (mainly for the cracking songs that are Archaeologists and Weight Ghost) but I heard their new one is very good too.

I've had a chance 2 listen to the new Ra Ra Riot album and it's really good highly recommended

hope they don't ignore rhumb line when it comes to the setlist - have had it on my player for the best part of eighteen months and i'm surprised how little *most* people know of them.

altough wintersleep's best album is probably 'welcome to the night sky' they will be playing more from recent album 'new inheritors'. same for wolf parade, they will more likely be performing tracks from 'expo 86'

'The Other Cheek Turners' second album 'Why Is My Face Redder Than Yours?' is rarely off my Gramaphonium.

p.s. DCLC's 'Miracle Kicker' is a wonderful album as 'pp' pointed out.

PS really enjoying Ra Ra Riot..... does anyone else think that the second track (Each Year) is reminiscent of Lost in the Supermarket (The Clash, of course)?
