Before Uni I worked for Royal Mail and a Security company who did sporting events...

My first job after University was with Benjamin Allen... They operated the "Investor in People" IT systems... It lasted a massive one month...

My next job was working for HFS Loans before they were absorbed by Capital One...

I actually turned down the graduate placement as I didn't want a life in project management at the time for the job at HFS Loans...

You see the problem we have is this. You didn't do any recruiting at HFS or Capital One - they have HR departments for that. But you say you have done a lot of recruiting in a lot of jobs. Now we know when you graduated and and what you did after and we know now that you are a hugely successful businessman. So somewhere in between working for HFS and setting up your own business, we have to find lots of jobs that you have done, yet still worked at a senior level where you were responsible for graduate recruitment but only in companies that were too small to have their own HR departments.

Can you understand the difficulty of trying to fit all your fantasies together?

In between HFS Loans and setting up my own business I had three further jobs where I was involved in recruiting... Maybe many was a strong word...

Because oaf claimed that it didn't matter which university you went to and four people pointed out he was completely wrong. He then claimed that he had a ton of experience in graduate recruitment and knew what he was talking about and Ive been explaining to him how that cant be the case.
