Not having a go at you, but I really hate it when the media say things like that, or Manning vs Manning.

When Peyton lines up at nose tackle or Eli at free safety, then its Manning vs Manning

The two games I mostly watched this week; Atlanta-Pittsburgh and Washington-Dallas. Both 3 hours of stinkiness for a great finish.

Loads of great matchups this weekend and games to intrigue. Vick gets the start in Motor City, Manning's Giants againt Manning's Colts. Then, cut the trash talk and do it on the field: The Patriots vs the LOUSY Jets

Looks like Indy/Peyton are back on form after the Houston loss, or are the Giants just that bad? They were far from convincing against the Panthers.

The Steelers offense is just awful so far. Its the D & special teams keeping us in games. Obviously its not good he's injured, but I hope we've seen the last of Dennis Dixon - he just doesn't look like an NFl QB. None of the receivers look like a threat with him in there. Byron Leftwich should be an improvement, and if you'd have offered me 2-2 by the time Ben is back at the start of the season I'd have taken it.

Not too many good games this weekend; Lions/Vikes & the Texas derby should be good indicators. Colts-Broncos on Sky should be good I guess. Pity Packers-Bears is the Monday night game.

was chufed to see the jets pretty much comprehensivley stuff the patriots at the weekend, wish LT had played with that vigour and desire when he was at san diego! dolphins jets this week should be interesting

was very very impressed with the jets actually, handy team, can see them doing well in playoffs

patriots going forward looked completley devoid of ideas, at least one of their Touchdown drives it was a penalty against the D that kept it goin on third and long

Why is everyone so suprised Michael Vick has been picked as the Eagles starting QB? It's a bit unfair on Kolb but there's no denying that Vick's form has been amazing so far!

I still think missing Polamalu hurt the Steelers at least as much last season as missing Ben this.

Anyone going to the game this Sunday then? Not exactly the two best teams going in, but two teams making mistakes can lead to a great game. I fancy the 49ers to edge it; having to fly 10,000 miles after losing by 45 points to Oakland - of all people - can't have been fun for Denver.

I love this week of the NFL, everything is on an hour earlier because the yanks don't turn their clocks back until the week after. Means the Steelers game on Ch4 starts at 12.20am instead of 1.20am

Met a bunch of the 49ers two days ago as they came into where i work and are staying local.Some big dudes man Haha!Really nice blokes though not what i expected from an American 'jock' team.All very polite and courtious.

Well I hope you all enjoyed I have to say that at half-time I was more than glad to be sat watching it at home - the mexican wave was surely not a good sign - but it turned into a cracker at the end.
