....its a long wait till me next £50 arrives.... I`m on the lookout for a loophole...anybody knows where I can catch one,I`m famished. :(

I strongly believe if these people who chastise folks on benefits had the misfortune to have to be on benfits themselves... they would blow a different fiddle.

I personally have been very much on both sides of the fence (and more) so can very much speak from experience.

Anybody who hasn`t had to survive on next to nowt can only offer an opinion, which of course they are entitled to do... but honestly--until you are there...you haven`t a clue.

you know thats not what i meant. My tax is worked out by my PAYE you are self employed, in my experience of dealing with self employed people, their squirming out of paying the correct amount of tax is standard. I.e. claiming the maximum amount of tax breaks on things people don't really use for work, like home elctricity, mortgage, broadband, when the amount of these things they actually use for work purposes does not come close to the amount claimed for.

Also and i'm not saying you do this, but some people i know keep two sets of books, one for the tax man and one that details the cash stuffed into the mattress.

What I am saying to you silly billy is I get the advice that is right for me and my business.

No, what you get is advice that you believe is right for your business.

If your accountant works for clients on the same t&c as every other accountant, he won't even put his name to a piece of paper which says "the advice offered is right for the business". He'll only say "I have offered my advice".

Like all of the supposed "professions", accountants are a joke. You get a more worthwhile guarantee about the quality of work off the most dodgy cowboy builder/plumber/whatever than you will ever get from someone from "the professions".

I don't think it is right... I just think it is a lesser evil when compared to up front theft...

that's right .... the bankers who have ripped us off for a trillion quid and which will effect us and our children for decades are nicer thieves than the benefit claimant who has fiddled their claim to gain themselves an extra tenner a week so they can buy the occasional brand name tin of beans instead of Happy Shopper. ;)

FFS. Get some f**king perspective!!

I do question that stuff... But I am also prepared to call people who steal from the public purse what they are... Its not an either or option...

Probably David Milliband... but to be honest I haven't really given it a lot of thought just yet... Defo not voting for Abbott or Balls... I can say that much...
