travel to creamfields

Hi guys

first time to creamfields this year so looking for a bit of help on the old travelling situation. Travelling from chorley/preston area and thinking of getting the train to warrington then the shuttle bus which is fine on the way there but looking at getting home, the last trains from warrington, mcr etc to preson seem to all be at 11pm ish and seeing as how i intend to get my moneys worth out of my ticket i want to stay to the end (going for the day on sun) so im wondering if anyone has done a similar trip in the past and knows how much a taxi to preston would be or has any alternative suggestions as to how to get home

Also i know the day starts at 12 on the sun but what sort of time should i be looking at arriving? dont want to miss any of the big acts we are going to see and as i said want to get the most out of my ticket. Realise im going to have to stand in a long que to get in so trying to plan this accordingly so im somewhere near the start or at least not at the end of the big ass que!

O that sucks, if you had of been camping you could have caught a lift with us as we're coming from chorley! But we're staying till monday morning!

you could maybe try book a room in a travel inn or something for the saturday night, could be cheaper than a taxi? but i cant help you with the time to arrive on the sunday as we were campin there last year and dont know what the que was like on the sunday

f**k it kid... get the bus to Liverpool and with it being Bank Holiday weekend all the pubs and clubs are open till 5-6 a.m... then get the train from Lime street... or enjoy a bit of the Mathew St Festival!!!!

I had thought of that Disco Dan but wasnt sure if places would let us in in neon paint, muddy shoes and generally worse for wear lol where would you reccommend? never been out in liverpool so have no idea where to even begin.

A room is probably cheaper than a taxi but not sure im going to be able to find anything now with it being sold out and so close to the day, will have a look.
