In a week's time the makers of the sell-out success Sunrise Celebration are bring you a totally participatory, family-focused gathering bringing you a practical exploration of community living, sustainable practices and revolutionary ideas.

Off Grid a place for community activists, transition-towners, green families, holistic practitioners, permaculturalists and anyone who wants to live a little more in tune with the planet. It's a place to gather ourselves and network with each other; to share our knowledge, skills and wisdom.

Come and learn, play, relax and be inspired to live more fully in a world in transition.

“We face a conundrum in our existence on this planet, never before in the history of our species have we consumed so much. We would need 3 planets to satisfy our needs if everyone in the world consumed like we do in Somerset.” Says organiser Dan Hurring,

“We organise Off Grid, now in its second year, because we believe it to be really important. To meet and share in the responsibility we have with this mission of transitioning to a more sustainable future is not only helpful, it is essential. And importantly so we, personally, can get access to the kind of information we need to start living the way we want to.”

Highlights include:

It's a bit daft advertising this in the Beautiful Days forum, given that Beautiful Days is on that weekend, so anyone reading this will be already at another festival.
