camcorders & lockers?

ok so i'm looking on taking my camcorder to creamfields with me, but the rules say you wont get in with it

has anyone took a camcorder in the past, are the security really that arsed about them or dont they care

if i cant get in with it is there anywhere i'll be able to leave it so i can just collect it at the end of the day or am i best just leaving it at home

anyone know?

i dont know wether you can take them in or not, your best bet would be to give them a ring mate, but i do know there are lockers which you have to pay for but they are first come first served so if you do have to leave it in there you best be quick lol

are the lockers before or after u go past security tho?

like say if i get knocked back with the camcorder will i just be able to run back and put it in a locker? (if theres any left ha)

(plus does anyone know how much the lockers cost?)

yea i did mean the cream office like, i know they will be uber busy but its either that or risk havin to ditch the cam lol

Dont take it... take a high res digital camera that records HD ..... canon do a lovely one EOS 550D only about 7-8 hundred quid

No, still cameras are allowed, however no professional audio or photographic equipment is allowed.

so my guess would be just to take a digi cam that also takes vids (like dan said lol)

recon you would get away with a normal HD camcorder?... think whst they dont want people taking is things like Sony PMW-EX1R's and whatnot!
