First Diedre closes up and goes for glasses so she can have a drink with Giggilo Lewis. Then tonight.. Leanne close up after Nick the Twat gives a punter a wedge of notes to piss off!!

How can yer run a business like this????

And Ken Barlow... eee lad... how can he complain about Deidre "me tits start at me belly button" Barlow getting snogged by the Giggilo..after he has tommed every walking woman over 50 on the Street (apart from Betty).

This really is a true reflection on life today. Social History before our very eyes.

I really used to know me onions re Correr but the last decade has seem a decline in my veiwing.

I was President of the FREE DEIDRE RASHID campaign (NE) circa `95 and hung a huge self made flag from my flat nr Hart le Pool railway station!

A little one to throw into the pot when yer visiting an aging relative for tea and cakes.... Barbara Knox (Rita) is the only member of the cast who has a clause in her contract allowing her to wear her own clothes.

Did you see the frock she had on the other day when she was out sweeping the flags????

Dev was out getting the pattern for some curtains....

Is the story about Hartlepool true about the French ship coming over, and the crew for a laugh dressing a monkey up in an army uniform, and the people of Hartlepool, who hadn't seen a Frenchman before or a monkey, thinking it was what French people looked liked, and put it on trial and hung it? And then is it also true that that story was made up because it was actualy a child that was hung?
