Twice this morning I've been directed to this website when clicking on a link. Once to a thread, once to a spoiler.

Amara are the firm that produces the flash scroller that's at the top right of the page and used for displaying the news headlines.

There's something about it which causes what you've experienced to happen, tho I'm not sure why. I've had it happen to myself, but not for several years at least. As far as I'm aware it's a very rare occurrence, so I'm not going to let it concern me unduly.
