Getting to South Car Park

Hi

So I hope everyone else is excited about this coming weekend as I am!!

Last year was my first time at V and we ended up in the West Car Park with the mammoth walk to the Green Camp Site!!

We want to stay in Green again and so wanted to try and get into the South Car Parks

a) Does anybody disagree that this would be the best car park to park in?

What road do we need to get to in order to get into this car park!? (we will be travelling from the south, Birmingham)

Any advice really would be appreciated....thanks

It helps me! Never parked in south car park which is where I want to park this year to get camped in gold. Setting off at 5:15am too,earliest we've ever set off.

First time last year, I parked in South by recommendation from here, camped in Gold, no problems friendly atmosphere, good nights sleep and the car was 5 mins away so ideal for storage.

To get there, I just asked to be directed to South, no one seemed to mind.

Doing the same agian this year.

It was about 15 to 20 minute walk to the arena and the weather was good, not sure it would be as pleasant in the wet!. Another bonus, I was able to move the car closer to the entrance / exit because parking spaces became available.
