Wisdom needed

Hi,

Need some help. It was my first time at V Festival last year and it was amazing, although I didn't do any of the planning- which is sort of my problem. I arrived around 10pm on the Friday evening with my boyfriend, but we were so lucky as the other couple we were with had arrived at about 2pm and set up our tent and knew how to get there when they came to meet us at the car park. The problem is, that this year, we have drawn the short straw and have to set up the tents as they are not arriving until Saturday morning. I cannot remember which car park we were in as it was pitch black and the only thing that I remember about the camp site is that we had to walk for ages!! It was past the gold and silver and I think the last one/furthest away. It had lots of winding paths to get there.

I am not going to be arriving until about 7/8pm as maybe a little earlier, but I am thinking I would like quite a chilled out campsite. Do I have a chance? Which ones would you suggest? That are not too far? Also, HOW MANY ARE THERE??? And which car park should we aim for? Please help!!! I am stressing BIG time.

If you not arriving until later Friday night and need space aim for green which is past orange, as think you will struggle to find space in other campsites tbh plus green isn't that far from the arena

Go on the V festival site as they have site info/maps you can download so this will be helpful, as regards to car parks to will be herded into whichever one has space by the stewards tbh

Don't stress just get the map thingie from V site and once there just ask the stewards for help it will be fine

Thanks I downloaded the map but can't even read the writing! All I remember from last year is walking through all the food vans and practically up some hills! I think I must have been in grey! So do you think Orange will be really full at that time? Damn it. Yeah I think I will just have to ask the stewards!
