Wellies or walking boots?

I've coped with walking boots for the past 3 years even mudbath of 08 but I'm sure I nearly got trenchfoot!! It was partly cos I had walking boots but no wellies. This year someone has kindly lent me wellies so I'm bringing them

The walking boots are more comfy, but if its very muddy they are probably not 100% waterproof. Plus wellies are easier to slip off to get into your tent.
