Arggghhhh!

I despise seetickets with a passion.

Another year and yet again i'm left waiting for my tickets til the last minute despite buying them in the September presale.

Rang them several times this week

Tues - "Tickets will definitely be with you by the end of the week... we're sending them out early this year" (?!)

Wed - "Tickets have been dispatched Royal Mail Special Delivery.... you'll have them by 1pm tomorrow" Great, i take the day off work so i'm in to sign for them...

Thurs (1pm) - "Tickets are still awaiting dispatch.... you'll have them by the latest Tues but they should be dispatched today" So I was blatently lied to then....

Thurs (4.30pm) - "You'll recieve your tickets by the latest 1pm on Monday but I doubt they'll be sent out today" Asked if i'd receive an email saying they'd been sent... "Errrrr... maybe?"

Do seetickets staff have ANY idea what's happening?

I'm seriously confused.com

Thanks for that.... here's keeping fingers crossed they arrive!

I think they are the only ones who do the presale but if i'm wrong i'd love to get them from another company! I only started ordering the presale tickets when i couldn't get through on ticket night one year and ended up having to buy leeds tickets instead of reading.

My Rage tickets for Finsbury park NEVER turned up but luckily I was able to pick them up on the gate.

I know they wait to send out tickets because of touts and fraudulent copies but I fail to see why, no matter whether i book in september or in march, my tickets are ALWAYS in the last batch to be sent out.

I definitely think, considering the presale tickets are paid for almost a year in advance, that they should be the first batch to be sent out.

And don't get me started on why they send out the day tickets before weekend and early entry when you'd think it'd be more important for people travelling down on the wednesday to have their tickets before people who, at the earliest, would be travelling 2 days later.

Ahhh... I remember back in the day when you could order a Reading ticket a few weeks before the festival, have the ticket in hand with plenty of time to spare and it only cost the princely sum of £80 :)

I know i'll have forgotten all the hassle and worry of getting my hands on the tickets as soon as they arrive and i'm on my way down to the festival and i've never been overly concerned in the past that my tickets wouldn't arrive before i leave but after the debacle with the Rage tickets i'm beginning to wonder......

I found a poster from my first Reading in my mother's loft a few months back - 1994, I bought my ticket a week before and it cost £65 :D
