oafc0000
No. They should be seeing him as a Leader of the Opposition. Your clearly confused what this election is for

Pogues Mcgogues
I heard last night from a reliable source that there's an opinion poll about to come out which shows Labour on par with Tory popularity, with the Lib Dems sinking to one of the worst popularity opinions they've had in a very very long while. Pogues Mcgogues
Will be interesting to see what the break down of votes is... Apparently David M has more first choices but they reckon Ed M will win it off the second / third choices etc... They where talking about on This Week last night... oafc0000
Who do you think Dianne Abbott and Ed Balls voters will put second? A lot of these voters know their candidate won't win, and actualy make their proper choice with their second choice.

Alcatraz
Some people have said that Labour should stick to its roots even if it means being out of power for another 16 years... I am just wondering if Pogo signs up to that idea... Edited September 24, 2010 by Alcatraz
lost
I was expecting David to win until my girlfriends voting forms came thrpough from the union plastered with "vote for ed" all over them, I'm surprised they are allowed to do that, anyone know who they backed when Blair got the leadership, was it Prescott? oafc0000
What the f**k are Labour's roots? The fact is, David Miliband has been just as aggressive towards the affluent in this campaign with his mansion tax and policy to remove the Charitable status of independent schools
Alcatraz
David M is certainly more centrally minded than Ed is more to the left... As for what are Labours roots... Maybe spend some time on wiki or something... Edited September 24, 2010 by Alcatraz
eFestivals
Get your house on Ed Milliband. Had a very reliable tip - and Im talking very reliable here - and he's backed his confidence with doing the business That's a shame for Labour then. He's defo the best looking choice at this moment, but it won't be the case in 5 years when there's an election. People will want someone with more gravitas. Alcatraz
The roots of the Labour party were born out of community-based movements among workers.

eFestivals
Gravitas? What are you talking about man? Although that highly personable chap Dave Cam seemed to do quite well This year's election was about getting rid of Brown for many voters. Dave Moron won by default. He wasn't particularly wanted - if he was he would have cleaned up; because he wasn't particularly wanted, the Libs did well. The next election will be an election in dire times. It will be a choice between the devil that we'll (by then) know, or "taking another risk" on Labour (on the basis of their f**k up last time). "Nice-guy Ed" will do worse in that situation than someone considered a more serious politician would - such as his bruv.
