Josie's Cat
ha ha is Wagner back as a wild card? He's an ex P.E teacher, imagine being taught by him, it would be soooo silly! I liked him though, bit different, and at least he doesn't CRY every two minutes like a lot of the others.

rachbon
looks like gamu and her family's visa was refused cause of an admin error. that's what it said on the news tonight anyway. if she does stay in the country, she'll get signed no bother after all the publicity. rachbon
Apparently the "admin error" cost her the right to appeal... Her visa was refused because the family had been receiving tax credits they where not meant to be claiming. http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2010/10/07/x-factor-cheryl-cole-and-simon-cowell-fall-out-over-gamu-nhengu-axeing-115875-22614674/
metallimuse
Apparently she would not be forced to leave the country due to the issues in Zimbabwe, merely asked to leave voluntarily.
oafc0000
it said on the news tonight they are appealing. so under the conditions of their visa, i assume they weren't allowed to claim tax credits? i'm sure they would have been asked questions regarding their visa when they applied, although i suppose they could have lied. rexclark
Watching Live At Studio 5 tonight (I was at my mums) and they said there forum was inundated with abuse towards Cheryl Cole. One person even went as far to make the violent threat (their words) "If I ever see her I'll kick her ass!"
themuel
If ever proof was needed that this country has gone stark raving bonkers, the last 24 hours of news is it.

rachbon
yeah i'd like to see this fuss made if it was an unknown normal family of immigrants still
markeee
aye. i don't know much about immigration, but there could be other nice people who have jobs being deported, but people are only bothered about gamu because she was on the x factor. rachbon
yea I thought that - just because she was on x factor..and? I'm also sick of hearing how Cheryl was wrong to not put her through Cheryl's the judge..end of story, not that I'm a fan of hers..but thats the plain and simple of it imo Umm, btw do you know what exactlys happening tomorrow? rachbon
in that case wtf is all this fuss over, can't see them leaving voluntarily
markeee
i hate cheryl but think it's silly that she's getting the blame. she was obviously advised by the show's producers not to put gamu through. it wouldn't have been cheryl's decision. do you mean with the wild card thing? i don't know. cheryl has been spotted filming at treyc's house though, so i imagine each judge will have went to their act's house and told them they're through to the live shows. markeee
Why do people care about this girl on X-Factor... While being hosted in this country the family cheated benefits... Bit naughty that...
rachbon
exactly Cheryl isn't to blame..plus if Gamu had got through..there would be more complaints/cries..let her stay bla bla, then if she got thrown off at a later date some people would blame that on the visa situation yea, i'm not quite sure what's happening tomorrow with the wildcard? how many are being re-enterred and out of who?!
