glasto-worker
This year as far as I am aware ' The white bar will be serving ales this year ' but its not clear what they mean by white bar as that is not a official WBC bar name. Going by the bar map they have the union local marked out. between NME/Radio 1 stage and Dance/Lock up stage No information as to how many they will stock but if they follow on from the real ale tent at Glastonbury in previous years than it should be well stocked. Jefrow
Isn't it just the bar in white?

johnmcga
There's real ale at Reading? Has it been around on previous years? If so, how have I missed it before?! One of the things I love about Glastonbury is the amazing selection of booze. Glad to see a bit more variety at Reading.
glasto-worker
There has never been a specific Real Ale tent at least for the past twenty years the WBC has had the contract hence the reason why I started the thread in the first place although on occasions there may have been a few kegs on a trial basis. The main problem is it take too long to settle hence why the WBC has been favouring bright Ale and at Latitude Hektor's has been going down a storm so I would not be suprised if Hektor's is on sale at Reading. http://www.hektorsbrewery.com/
hombrederayo
Be the 1st time I've ever seen decent beer on sale at Reading so this is good to know. If its between those 2 tents, should be ok to find.
glasto-worker
Sorry for the rough map - normally they use the large scale blueprint version but this time it appears they have just marked the bar names on a bog standard map. By the way next to the 1st of May is the claimed ' Off sales ' tent although this may or may not be correct { in some previous years we did have a rough ' Off sales ' outlet but this was always outside the arena }

glasto-worker
It will be called The Bread & Roses (The same bar from Latitute & Hop Farm) with DJ's, food & ale! I know all of this as it's my bar this year. Come say hi

glasto-worker
The WBC Village bar { The Club house } so not far from where you are although if you don't know the security it is tricky getting in. So another wet Reading lets hope the river does not flood its banks again. Its handy for me as I don't have to bother with the shuttle bus apart from dropping into Orange Crew catering. I don't have my shifts yet but they are likely to be late.
