I'm going up by coach so obviously I'm limited to what I can bring, but my friend told me there's a shop not too far away that sells fairly cheap crates of alcohol. Is this true, and if so how cheap, where etc.

I've seen people selling crates fairly cheaply out of their cars/vans by the side of the road before (Reading this is). FR don't like it, but they can't do anything since it's outside of the site. If not you can just walk to Tesco, it's not far.
