Flight Cancellation/Delays

So, I'm sat here at Belfast International Airport waiting for my BMI Baby flight to Brum. The flight, scheduled to leave now (1850) has been delayed by three hours un 2150. By the time I get to Birmingham International, I will most likely have missed the last train to Rugby (where I'm supposed to be house sitting for my ma) forcing me to wait until 450am for the first one the next day.

Now, although i do have insurance, its not really going to do me any good. A taxi would probably cost me in excess of £150 to where I'm going, which I *could* afford but I dont think I should have to pay out for this, even with the chance I would at some point be reimbursed. I imagine if the flight gets cancelled, they'll stick me in a hotel and may even feed me, but if the flight does run, I'm now probably going to be stuck at Birmingham Airport overnight. f**king joy.

Basically, if BMi Baby have put me in a position where I cannot continue my onward journey, are they obliged to stump up for it?

If they cancel the flight they might just refund you and send you home.

Depends which bit of the journey he's on. If he's returing, they are obliged to put him up in a hotel and feed him if the fight gets cancelled. I dont know about being responsible for any onward journey though
