Did anyone else have problems getting through into the campsite this year? We normally, enter through the South entrance with no problem, but this year we ended up in North, and had to wait in a massive queue with all our gear for over 2.5 hours...!!??? Never in all our years have we had to do this before......!!!

We travelled from the north east and ended up in the south car park.

It took us 4.75 just to get out of it today.

There was no set way out and as a result we had about 15 seperate queues, trying to wittle down to single file, through a 8m gap. It ended up as 5 queues being being managed into one. The system appeared to be, whichever queue blasts its car horn the loudest and longest goes next.Once through this obsticle it took us a further 30 minutes to get to the main road itself.

I'd used V's recommended route to the festival and was totally lost when i arrived at this main road,,not having Sat Nav. I asked the man directing the traffic how to get to the A5. He told me to follow the traffic and it will be signposted. I was looking but i never saw one sign to the A5. The main roundabout said M54 north and south or Wolverhampton A41. I had to go along the A41 to find a place to stop and get the map out.

The most frustrating thing, though, was that the entrance we came in on Friday was locked. Apparently,so the traffic controller said, because V only had a contract to use the farmers field on the Friday and no other days.

He also said there was 27000 vehicles, in the car parks. I paid, like everyone else,£10. Thats £270,000,over a quater of a million, on car parking fees alone. Surely, some of this could be used to pay the farmer accordingly. Let the local community make some money out of it. Im sure V make enough profit elsewhere.

Im aware that using this egress will impact on other roads but surely this can be managed.

I expect a lengthy delay but 4.75 hours leaves a bitter taste and not one i'm keen to endure again.
