travel times!

Heyy me and my friend are travelling by car from manchester. Just wondering what time to leave and how long are the queues and stuff? Would like to get a hotel for the friday but can't really afford it! Went to V last week and it took eight hours and we left at seven. Advice neeeded! Have a great festival everyone

From Manchester it shouldn't take more than an hour to actually get to the site. Can't really help you with how long the q's near the site are but I can't imagine it being that bad?

lol... from manchester to daresbury... 30 mins... queing in traffic @ daresbury an hour!!!

were traveling from sheffield and setting of at 5 with a pit stop on route so we get there for 7ish when the carparks open !

as you have to q for wristbands etc .... then the hike to the camping fields - 1 hour with all the luggage and beer lol !

Travel time there shouldn't be too bad at all, just the closer you get to the site expect the queues. Last year there was a diversion from the motorway & the queues tailed back for quite some miles - just be prepared & set off as early as you can to get picthed up!
