Reason it seemed busier

We were camping on Orange and we joined at the side of us by 3 x scouse lads, they did not mix and were very quiet, did not seem like your typical musical lovers. Anyhow it turned out that they were there as part of an organised gang who were bringing people in on Fake wrist bands, they were on their phones all night organising meeting people at differnet points and getting the wrist bands to them, they charged £60 per person for the whole weekend and reduced this to a day ticket wrist band for £30, they had people finding them and thanking them all weekend and the more they drank the louder they got. They were ringing people telling them the thousands of pounds they had taken and aranging to meet them to pass the money over. Not only were they there on fake wrist bands they also started to ask around for empty tents on the Sunday night as there were so many people with no where to sleep. Cheeky f**kers.

Weston park gets a hell of a lot more negativity than Chelmsford, probably because of the scousers and mancs. We just get chavs and wannbe's at Chelmsford (although a lot less this year).

Anyway why did you not report them to security? No doubt they were robbing tents as well over the weekend, not to mention the safety factor involved. Scum like this should be put down!

We had a few Scouse kids in track suites come up to us in the arena asking if we could slip our bands off and sell them to people for £60. We told them where they could right royally f**k off to.

I did see a few people get caught by Security taking bands off and passing them around and getting "nicely" removed.

You should have reported them though, could have had your own stuff nicked!

No, we did not report them, they were surounded by all our friends and they were meeting with different camps every night, some of us had our children with us, in all fairness peoples tents can get robbed no matter who you camp next too and I have been lucky and not had a thing taken over the last 5 years of being at V.

I know someone who might have taken a shit in their ruck sack before they lef though

don't fall for the stereotype not all scousers are bad. There were very many scousers at V as there are at other festivals but it shames me to see that there are scousers (and people from other regions)that go there with the soul insent of ripping people off

You should never stereo type and I always try not too but as soon as they turned up and started refering to each other by names like Boss Man, Ash and G, I sort of guessed they were not there for the music, maybe the Coral but that would have been it, their happy hardcore on their Mp3's was a massive give away.

I heard them say they had got 300 through the gates on one of their face book profiles alone, it was interested to spectate in this scam

I am not saying all scouse people are like that, just that these guys happened to be scouse, and the lads who were approaching people to sell drugs at prodigy and Grove Armada were also, Scouse, and the lads we saw having a fight at Courteeners, were eeeerm Scouse

First off the irony of Man Utd fan defending Scousers has set me up for my hols, but Indie isn't stereotyping there were a lot of Geordies (haway the barcodes), Leeds fans, Scousers and Mancs there - its not stereotyping its fact. Also quite a few Stokies and Brummies as you'd expect. Thing is we pick up on accents.

I think the reason everything seemed to be done by scousers is that you can have a group of 8 lads and if one has a scouse accent by the end of the night you all sound slightly scouse, that and it is so easy to pick out. But yeah during The Coral a young lad was being offered something herbal by a guy who for political correctness we'll say may have relatives in the Birkenhead area... or he's a Scouser ;-)

I am not stereo typing, I am pointing out a fact that the lads who were selling snide wrist bands were scouse, their friends they were selling them too were scouse and the drugs I were offered was from some scouse lads, one of the lads names was scouse ha ha

God what idiots they are, puts a bad name on us scousers! At least most people can see we aren't all w*****s like them.

Typical Scousers. Everyone I saw was chavvy as f**k and up to no good. Queue jumping, pestering folk for beer tokens, trying to blag their way in, etc...

Tossers.

Yeah I agree with what your saying there was loads of bellend Scousers there, and truth be told, majority of the people been dickheads were Scousers, but I was with two Scouse lads sound as f**k, as well anyone else been a tit, you dont notice where they are from because there accents arnt as destinctive. So you could see 20 lads from Chester been dickheads but not know where they are from. 20 lads from Liverpool and its easy to know were there from ha.

Dont even go to Creamfields the place is full of 'them lads'.

being a scouser and proud i have to agree i thought i saw thousands of scousers as our accent had to be the most distinctive for the catchment area of people drawn to V chelmsford. Shamefully there were too many tossers out to spoil it for everyone and too many out to scam people but not all of these people were from Merseyside

We camp at the back of one of the camp sites (i forget which colour) but its near a fence and a car park... we were chilling out on the Saturday morning before the acts started and a load of young scouse lads jumped the fence and walked right through our camp with their "alright lah" bulls*it.

F**king w*nkers the lot of them, security is rubbish at V but they don't give a shit because if they have already sold out the tickets then its not like they are losing money.
