glass bottles

is it worth pouring vodka and whiskey into plastic bottles? I plan on puttin them at the bottom of my bag so will they make me take everything out searching for glass botttles?

its worth doing. ive been savin my plastics for a week now and they are now full of booze. it aint worth the risk, you would be fumin if you got to the gate and had it confiscated!!

In terms of getting away with taking them in, you should be fine.

What I will say though is that glass is banned for a reason. I camped with a girl in 08 who was knocked out by a glass bottle and subsequently scarred. I'm not accusing you of being the type to throw glass across a campsite, but people do.

I agree with Joe here. I've seen how bad injuries can be when someone gets hit with a plastic bottle full of piss - imagine the damage a glass one could do?

If it's spirits - they'll be alright in a plastic bottle (No doubt they'll all be gone in a matter of days) and there won't be the risk of having it taken away!
