Whilst we can discuss the ins and outs of benefits and people struggling and job cuts and public spending etc... I have been taking in the news today where the IFS have indicated that it is people at the lower end of the scale who will be hit hardest with all these Govt cuts.

I have maintained for donkeys yonks that the differential between the haves and the have-nots has grown massively since The Twatcher Years.

Back then, I distictly remember the Rates system. Now regadless of the rights and wrongs of it all--- I was paying £14 a month in Rates.

That figure went up to £70 a month with the introduction of the infamous Poll Tax.

I just could not afford to pay it...simple as that. The rich bloke up the road who lived in The Pondarosa, who`s argument was that his bin was emptied the same as mine--he got the same street light as me etc etc--well the difference being --he could afford whatever the rates were.

And so to the current day.People on the lowest of incomes are the ones who suffer when the likes of VAT goes up or Tax Credits are cut etc.

The more well off people--well yes, things might be a bit tighter for them--but thats all. There is no relevent factors here.

Its an awful feeling when the heavy cloud of despair hangs over you when you see no light---not even a f**kin tunnel and you wonder where the next bread and milk might come from.Aye.

But, we not in Haiti,Niger or Pakistan eh....
