Me + Police + Creamfields = Not a good history.

They stopped my disabled husband one year in his car. Tried to do him for his insurance. They couldnt. Tried to do him for drugs. They couldnt. Tried to then do me and Paul for drugs. They couldnt. Bought a police dog over especially for us. Nothing. So they raided his car until under a massive massive masssssive pile of rubbish and papers and junk they found a pair of nun chucks. From when he was a martial arts instructor before his back went bad (he had a license for them too). So they arrested him and threw him in a cell for most of the day. Kept saying he was going to take them in and knock chavs out or whatever (yeah, by the way, hes disabled and cant walk very well, and genuinely didnt know they were even there). They needed to confiscate them and let us get on with our day. But no. Took him to the custody suite on Daresbury. Released him without charge hours later. Missed most of the festival. Completely ruined our day.

Im up for the police doing their jobs, because we need them their when theres people trying to sell shit drugs to kids that are going to make them ill, and when people are getting battered for their phones and money, we really need the police then. Im NOT up for the police throwing their weight around where its not needed. They had at least 15 officers all over me and my little brother and my husband. Later found out that people with knives were being given on the spot cautions. No arrests/cells. But my husband was dragged away. And wasnt allowed his walking stick.

And yea CeeCee i totaly agree, they should be doing propa work and catching real criminals not just picking fault because they dont like you.

And as the case goes for people taking drugs into the site... i know its illegal but if for example everyone could take their own in, you wouldnt get the people taking massive ammounts of the stuff to sell around as there wouldnt be a market for it so to speak..

Just annoys me that the likes of alcohol and tabaco isnt illegal even tho its a drug and it kills and effects many many more lives a year % wise compared to any party drug.

Does everyone padlock their tent??? Just some people say yer do it but others say it attracts people thinking you have stuff to steal? Personally i would lock it coz if they wanna get in they will.

Yeah, i always lock mine at festivals. You gotta remember, if they REALLLLY want to get in, they will just slash it. But thats going to attract attention innit.
