I bought a creamfields ticket when they first came out and 2 days before the event i look on the website which has changed since then saying that you can't use a provisional. This is the only form of id i have other than my birth cetificet just wondering do you think I could get away with still going or am I screwed and have to sell my ticket which would really suck.... if anyone knows any ways to help me it would be much appreciated thanks guys :(:(:(

can not say how strict they will be mate but if the police can accept a provissional as proof of I.D I find it odd that CF will not... do you really look that young?... you lucky so and so...

Take your birth certificate with you.... if all else fails... get a copper to escort you to the entrance and have him blow your name through on the pnc (police national computer)... I did this once... come back I had an outstanding fine and got arrested lol

ha ha ha ha ha that was years ago... just play dumb with your provissional and birth certificate mate... just start crying and tell them its the only I.D you have... another one is... the electoral registration papers are being delivered as we speak ... if you have recieved yours take it with you... it proves you are over 18 as you have to be 18 to be on the electoral role ;)

Ahhhhhh f**k, I only EVER use my provisional. And I get IDd every year at Creamfields. Sorry, but I didnt think 12 year olds had tits the size of Jordan, but whatever... Now Im going to have to bring my passport, which looks less like me then my provisional does. Gaaaaaaaaay.

I dont know where you have got the info from that they dont accept provisionals as ID because the link on the important information page on the creamfields website says a full OR provisional licence is an acceptable form of ID. They are essentially the same thing but in different colours!

http://www.creamfields.com/news/important-information

saying that I have actually lost my drivers licence so am gonna have to bring my passport which sux!!!

its also sux that am 29 and everytime i forget my ID i end up getting ID'd!!

thats all well confusing, when i looked at the website for information about ID I didnt look at that page!I looked at the chshire police one!

I mean I reckon that a provisional ID will be ok, in the past I have shown my provisional at creamfields and its been fine. I now have a full licence but lost it almost immeadiately! ha ha! But if you have a passport as well then I would suggest you possibly bring that too.

If you dont have a passport I would print off the cheshire police information page and keep that with you incase they say anything. I mean I got that cheshire police link directly from the official Creamfields twitter page! i might ask on twitter quickly just to confirm for you guys!

how thorough are the ids? do they do everyone before they will give you a wrist band or is it only the ones who look under 21? do not really want to be taking my passport and have no other form of id other than my student card which i am aware will not really get me far (even tho it looks more like me than my passport ever did!) im 25 and much as i would love to do not really think i look under 21 so wondering if i need the ID or not? argh i really dont want to take the passport due to hols this week and my predisposition to loose things!
