Tickets for Sunday and touting news

Just spoken to my mate, they are clamping down hard on people buying/selling tickets. apparently they are banning people from the whole site for 24 hours if caught trying to sell spares. the touts were offering £40-£50 for weekend tickets on thursday and friday. honestly 40-50. I couldnt f**king believe it. one of my mates has a genuine spare, which I am going down for tomorrow.

another mate has 6 spare, because he bought them to make a profit, and to be honest - I've no sympathy for him. he sold one for £300 2 years ago, and thought he was gonna repeat the feat this year and it has bitten him on the arse - and rightfully so.

point being - if you are going down for the day tomorrow - dont get stung by the touts - they paid f**k all for them.

I got a friday ticket off Ebay a few days ago for £45, it was up for £70 so less than face value and I offered £45 and won the auction. As for tout prices, not sure about weekend tickets but day tickets were going for £20 to £30 by the main entrances, probably to get rid of them quick because of the clamp down.

While waiting for my Ebay ticket to arrive by red gate, me and my brother were stopped and searched by two coppers. They were sure we were touts, so not doing their job very well. Spotting the touts was'nt rocket science by any means but they chose to stop and search two boring old 40 year olds with a 7 year old kid!
