Yeah he was out cold for like 20minutes or something, then they took him to casualty

Did you hear about the girl who got 2nd degree burns from some prick putting a canister on a fire? Apparently it blew plastic all over her and it was just melting to her

I heard someone was in their tent and it set alight by people, and someone got their arm burned.

But it wasn't as bad as that...

Its stuff like that which paints the horror stories of festivals... you really don't need to be a dick head.

Reading stuff like this makes me think I might not go back, just days after an awesome festival. I appreciate the chances of these things happening are fairly slim, but if something happened to me or even worse my girlfriend it'd be disastrous.

I camped in red (at Leeds) and it was the worst camping experience I've had yet. Camped next to some Lancashire chavs who just wanted to set fire to canisters whilst looking at me and my mates and saying 'who gives a f**k if they get burnt?'. Couldn't sleep a wink for fear of something happening to my tent (because it was borrowed and I wanted it back in one piece) and was just sick of people f**king around instead of chilling out drinking and talking or just going off for a dance or summet. The ones who only buy tickets to kick off are the scum that are starting to ruin the fest for hundreds of others, myself included.

It's similar in the arena. Stuff like chucking beer cans/full bottles/cups of piss is annoying at least and dangerous at most. I'm not some health and safety freak but alot of the stuff that goes bad is just due to people lacking common sense and people being d!ckheads.

I've firmly decided if I can afford to go next year (I'm starting uni so I might be skint), I'm camping in the quiet campsite. Little furthur to walk, but far less hassle and a much more relaxed camping experience. Sorted.

One of my, well i call him a "friend" went abit crazy during the sunday. Just don't understand why? Luckily for us he spent most of Sunday in Yellow camp and came back just to burn his tent. (Before anyone has a go again, the other 18 of us were not involved.)

The number of times i heard "Who are The Libertines/Arcade Fire/QOTSA?" etc. Just people who go to get drunk and pick fights and cause trouble. We went into the Dance Tent to watch Magnetic Man as their was no chance of us watching Paramore. And the number of people who were in there for one reason, just looking for a fight was unbelievable. Won't be going in their next year.

It'll take something special for me to spend a night on the Sunday at Leeds Festival.

yeah, in previous years i've camped in orange, orange funfair, red and blue.

this year was green and it was soooo chilled out!. good too seen as it was just me and the girlfirend for the first time, loads of space left too, which worried me slightly incase they became bonfire areas, but no, no trouble here.

We all camped in Green but near the end of Orange, we still had some of the atmousphere of Orange but it was quieter and come sunday, everyone except 1 group who were far enough away for us to not be too concerned, were being really sensible, chilling out and just making the most of the final night. I'd happily go around there again, but i don't recommend it as i don't want anyone stealing our great spot! Camp in Brown.. Yeah yeah. :PB)
