Guns N Roses at Reading!

Ever gone to watch a headliner when you're only vaguely familiar with their material, then walked away totally blown away and vowing to look up their entire back catalogue?

Pretty much the opposite happened to me with GnR. They were an embarassment and a disappointment and I hope Melvin Benn and the festival have nothing more to do with them.

I left as soon as they opened the exit to the left of the stage.

I just found that the performance (Leeds) was just lacking any atmosphere

I only stayed after QOTSA because I was right at the front and there was no-one else on that I wanted to see at that time

Thought Axl's voice was dreadful, much worse than when I saw them a few years ago

I just felt like I was watching any other average band, other than the playing some classic's and overdoing the light show, it didn't feel like I was even watching a headliner

I stayed for an hour but the idea alone of staying for another hour was just so boring

Personally I thought they were blown out of the water by Queens of the Stone Age
