1) Arcade Fire - They where so so good. The crowd singing the intro to Wake Up as we where walking back up to the Campsite was such an amazing feeling to be part of it

2) Weezer - I almost forced my friends to come along, but they where there anyway so they could stay for Paramore and Blink... and I was a bit worried they wouldn't enjoy it... but they al said to me afterwards how amazing they where. It was one of the best things I have ever seen in my life, second only to Arcade Fire. Just brilliant

3) Frank Turner - I'm a bit biased here, because he is one of my favourite artists ever, but WOW! The whole atmosphere in the tent was amazing, and the whole crowd singing along to so many songs. Oh and the Circle Jig at the end was a stroke of genius!

4) The Gaslight Anthem - The passion Brian Fallon put into the performance was brilliant I thought. And you could see how much he enjoys going out and playing gigs to the crowds. So pleased I got to go see them.

5) Biffy Cylro - The beard was amazing enough! Really enjoyed their set, shame Get F**ked Stud wasn't played as I do love that song, but everything else was great... and Many of Horror had me in tears, after pissing myself with the whole Amp thing. Although, I was next to a screaming teenager saying how much she loved Biffy Cylro and they where her favourite band, and then when Jaggy Snake was played, she said "What the hell is this? This isn't by them?" *sigh*

6) Gogol Bordello - I had been singing Start Wearing Purple all weekend with randomers... and it didn't disappoint. Great fun, and loved having a dance to them in some Wellies :D

7) Modest Mouse - Shame about them leaving out Float On at Leeds, I was really looking forward to it if they played it. But they played Black Cadillacs which is my favourite song by them, so I was so happy singing along to that at the top of my voice.

8) LostProphets - Where they really as bad as people where making out? I admit they weren't amazing, but I really enjoyed their set, specially the Sweet Child O Mine intro they did. And Omen was great. Their set was varied enough, I'm pleased it had Last Summer on it, and a few of Liberation Transmission. For me, a highlight of the day.

9) The Libertines - Festival Republic did a risk in my opinion booking them... and they really didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed their set, and thought Pete wasn't as much as a dick as he could have been. Enjoyed singing along to all their hits, and surprised me at how good they where. Not amazing, but defiantly a good band to see.

10) Guns N Roses - Sort of. No where near as good as I expected. Yes the show was good... with the pyrotechnics... but that distracted away from the music... which was also good, and it was good to here the hits. But I realised two things... It was missing something... not Slash or anything like that... but the whole set seemed... too staged, and not free flowing like other bands I had seen. And the whole atmosphere was ridiculously tense and awkward where I was... specially with everyone around me saying that DJ Ashba was a dick and a disgrace for looking like Slash with the Top Hat and guitar. I also heard shouts of him miming :S But they where better than some of the other bands I had seen in the weekend, and Axl's voice is still as good as it ever was. November Rain was amazing to see, and Sweet Child O Mine was an amazing experience in my opinion

This was all at Leeds :D

1. Arcade Fire. - No explantion needed.

2. Phoenix. - Didn't really know anything by them, but they were freaking awesome.

3. We Are Scientists. - As entertainig as any show I've ever seen.

4. LCD Soundsystem. - Could've been higher IF THEY PLAYED A f**kING ENCORE.

5. Everything Everything (x2) - Went in thinking it would be good fun, by their second set i was a huge fan. and they played weights the second time :D

6. Adam Green. - When doesn't he put on a great performance?

7. Gogol Bordello. - Just perfect for a nice sunny afternoon!

8. The Libertines. - I expected more, but it was a nice enough sing along.

9. Wild Beasts. - Just a very very very good band.

10. Klaxons. - They put on a good show.

Just missing out would be the cribs. huge fan but the crowd was nothing were i was, got nothing more than weird looks for singing every word!

Quite NME orintated, but I had a cracking weekend all round!

Lows.

Mumford - Felt like half an hour of hell in between Adam Green and Phoenix. Fuuuucking hated it.

Rolo Tomassi - Was this a band or a f**king exorcism, waiting for Everything Everything, first band of the weekend, and it. was. awful.

Mystery Jets - Sound was awful, expected more, only band i walked away from which i was looking forward to. :(

Even with the lacking crowd i'm still surprised how the f**k the tent stay up. They were incredible. The crowd size did seem to grow throughout though. Almost like people were saying "what the f**k is that noise... lets get in there"... they were brilliant though.

1) Blink 182

Put it this way: Musicianship was poor, the sound was even more dreadful. But the crowd atmosphere, singing along to every single word, the energy they had, how loud we were, seeing banter between Tom and Mark, and just seeing your favourite childhood band did it for me. Definitely worth missing the Klaxons for.

2) Arcade Fire

Don't understand why everybody was slating them about not being worthy to headline or having the smallest crowd. Completely blew me away with their set, brilliant songs, everybody singing to the intro to Wake Up, absolutely brilliant.

3) Queens of the Stone Age

Josh Homme was so high! More or less a greatest hits setlist, haven't listened to them much before I saw them, but I really enjoyed it.

4) Two Door Cinema Club

As the frontman puts it, "Thank you Reading for giving us the best experience we ever had."

5) The Libertines

Was very up to go see them, but slightly disappointed to be honest. The surge in the crowd was unbearable, but nevertheless, put on an awesome show. Big gamble, did it pay off? I would say so.

6) Weezer

Most surprising act of the weekend for me, the frontman was mad! Loved it.

7) Phoenix

Brilliant atmosphere in the tent, put on a great live show, one of the best critically acclaimed bands around at the moment. In personal opinion, if they had another album, would have headlined instead of LCD.

8) Limp Bizkit

Another surprising one, Fred Durst is not a dick as much as he used to be, very much enjoyed the hits.

9) Lostprophets

Not on form like they usually are, setlist didn't include any old favourites, but crowd made it for me.

10) Delphic

Great musicianship again, really good in the tent. Though the crowd being full of chavs was a bit disappointing.

5. Rolo Tomassi (her speech about playing Leeds was so moving)

6. Kele

7. Villagers

8. Phoenix

9. Alain Johannes

Leeds:

1 - The Libertines - Just because, and they did put on a great show In my opinion. Singing along to the classics, just brilliant.

2 - Limp Bizkit - Performed top notch, couldn't help but move while listening to them and Wes' costume was quite something.

3 - Arcade Fire - The parts I did see were superb, really put on a great show.

4 - Cypress Hill - JULIO JULIO JULIO JULIO JULIO !

5 - Magnetic Man - Usually try and stay away from the Dance Tent but them three were excellent.

6 - Delphic - Real bouncy show. :D

7 - Weezer - Just great.

8 - Klaxons - Saw the second half of their gig and they were genius. Real lively and looked like they wanted to be there.

9 - Dizzee - Similar reason for Klaxons, really looked to be enjoying it and wanted to be there.

10 - Blink - Thought they did well, thought they tried their best to motivate the crowd. But the sound was poor as well as the crowd, and I think Limp had shown them up earlier.

Arcade Fire

Blink

GNR

QOTSA

Weezer Were the ones that really shone for me

Biffy Clyro

Cypress Hill

Limp Bizkit

The Libertines Were also very good.

Paramore were slightly disappointing (short set, Mic was very low) and so was Dizzee (short set again and was involved in a bottleneck between the speakers and the tower, not nice)
