i've been getting more frequent work doing my Midas thing, and i've decided that i want to get some work as a kids entertainer!

i've done a few mini-festival community events, a chartiy fundraiser and a couple Bearded Theories as Captain Dan and i like kids a hellllll lot more than i like selling insurance ;)

i made the website linked above, but google have still yet to add it to their search lists <_< i also made a local business add on google maps but it only shows when you zoom righhhhhht down, anyone know how to make it show up from a higher perspective?

so if anyone has any advice on where i can advertise for free (as google seems to take every step to stop people from finding me <_< ) or advice on childrens entertainment, orrrrrr if you want to write me a nice review based upon the fact you know i'd be a nice pirate then please feel free :D

I work in a children's play and party centre so know a bit about children's entertainers. Firstly - i'm presuming you are CRB checked, put it on your website and any other relevant qualifications eg. first aid training plus do you have public liability insurance?, parents can be very careful with stuff like that. Secondly the different characters are very different and only on a few occasions will they be considered by the same target audience so maybe seperate the website a bit, make the pirate bit more child/parent friendly. The pirate pic is a good action shot however i think it may be nice having a kinda pirate portrait so potential customers can see your face a bit clearly. And finally find places like where I work - we sometimes hire children's entertainers during the school holidays and for special events, but we also have leaflets on our reception desk and the ammount of families who see them could create you some business! Hope it all goes smooth sailing!
