minute5072
What's Maggie May's? And what's the other place that was said about before it?
Pogues Mcgogues
http://www.maggiemays.info/ It's on trongate, bar upstairs and a club bit downstairs (I think). Have only been in the upstairs bit but its nice. Prices are ok, they usually have promos on at £2 like cans of red stripe or vodka mixes. You can book online, not sure if thats just if you're wanting food or if you're wanting to book a table or two etc

Px.
I don't actualy like it. There used to be gigs on there in the back room, seperating the front pub from the gig goers was a curtain. It was always a bit of an experience. Deary me, that was a terrible mis-spelling made there on my part. Thanks for pointing it out, quoting it, and putting it in bold so everyone can notice it tho. rexclark
aye. i think it is perfect for an efest meet. i'm not bothered whether we go there or somewhere different though. as long as it's cheap and has a seating area so we all have somewhere to sit together. Paul ™
Cool, I've only been in once for a gig, seemed a decent sized place anyway. So will we decide there for a change for the club then? If it's shite we can always change it for the next meet So any decent, cheap pubs around that area then? Somewhere with reasonably priced food

Pogues Mcgogues
Home? It's well cheap during the week, not too sure about weekend prices but doubt it goes up that much. Have pretty decent food that's always on special (normaly two for one or drink and burger deals). It has loads of seating areas, even an upstairs as well. I'm sure you can book seating too. And it's just accross the road from the big fancy indoor place with the pubs and resturuants, so it's close to the Tron. The bars called Home btw I'm sure. Maybe House. I've been in it a few times anyway and it's always been realy nice. I think they have a band playing at weekend nights too. Like a covers band type thing.
