How is the site when/if it rains ? : (

Last year was my first EOTR and the weather was glorious !

This year its looking a bit iffy on the forecasts ....... ranging from possible showers to full on heavy rain. Though I never trust forecasts more than a day or so ahead.

Has there been heavy rain on any previous years ? How does the site hold up ....ie should I be packing a dinghy

Of course I'm sure the festival gods will look down on us and summer will return for the weekend <crossed fingers>

Whatever happens its gonna be a great 3 days. Can't wait.

In the last three years there's been nothing too dread... One year it rained heavily just as everyone was pitching up, which made car parking fun, and the entrance between the campsite and the stages very boggy, but otherwise it seemed ok and had eased up by the weekend. Sorry that's not much use, but I reckon it's a sign of how well they plan the weather for us!

In 2008 I think it rained a fair bit friday morning. You needed your wellies by Friday evening, but the rest of the weekend you were OK in walking boots. From memory the stage areas were fine, it was just entrances/gateways that got really boggy.

Definitely take the wellies.

The sites on chalk so generally well drained though it might be a bid muddy where its heavily trampled through gateways etc but the stage areas are usually dry and well maintained. The forecast is looking better all the time, yeay.
