Nailed on I'd say now. The fact they've squeezed in 3 dates this year instead of waiting to next years suggests they'd be tied to an exclusivity contract. I'd imagine its pretty much a done deal subject to the album doing well.

Hm, the fact that they're only playing the Hammersmith Apollo makes me doubt they could headline. If they were still playing to arenas maybe, but the apollo? No way.

agreed...i'd say most MCR fans are 18 - 22 now... all the teen emos ..whatever you want to call them have (11-16) have moved onto YMAS, Paramore and 30 Seconds to Mars.

i think it's a good move playing venues such as Hammersmith Apollo, shows they're not too comercial anymore... personally wish Kings of Leon had done something similar with their upcoming tour.

but, without a doubt these shows will sell out in minutes, they're just warm up dates before the album is released, and i bet there will be an arena tour in 2011. be interesting to see the recpetionv/ success of this album.
