They're outside the site. So that means that while you *might* not have to carry your stuff as far (dependant on how close the parking is to those tents - something I don't know), you'll have to do significantly more walking between wherever you are on site and your tent. And that walk will be up the steep hill that the stone circle is on. So I'm not sure if as an old git like you () those ready-pitched are a saving to your burnt-out body or an increase. What you can be certain of is that it'll be a huge drain on your wallet. You could certainly find a random to carry your stuff onto site and put your tent up for you for a damned sight less money than you'd shell-out on any pre-pitched option. StoneCircle
We are in the campervan fields so can't offer any advise. We did see the Tangerine camping this year as we used gate B to enter the site and they were very near the gate. This entrance brings you on site either to the Pyramid via Big Ground or near Meeting Point/Queens Head if you use the decent gravel road so should be okay if wet. They are mentioned in the link below. Good Luck http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/other-accommodation-options And here is some feedback for you. /index.php?showtopic=151296&st=0&p=3375197&hl=tangerine&fromsearch=1&#entry3375197">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=151296&st=0&p=3375197&hl=tangerine&fromsearch=1&#entry3375197 Edited September 9, 2010 by StoneCircle
