I would definately watch The Strokes. But if they book Foo Fighters & Greenday then i feel its all getting a bit dull and predictable. Don't get me wrong these are decent bands but i would prefer they just went for one of them and then a bit of a 'wildcard' booking along the lines of Pearl Jam in 06 and Smashing Pumpkins in 07.

brandon flowers will be mainstage whereever he plays. Don't forget killers had the biggest crowd of the weekend when they headlined, quite a feat considering they were up against metallica and ratm, the latter having massive crossover appeal.

We'll agree to disagree but at leeds metallica's crowd was respectable, but not huge, definately the smallest headliner of the weekend. Rage and killers were both huge, but I remember watching killers from the burger vans and it being wall to wall with people (One of the few things I can remember from the 08 festival, a very messy year!).

Will prob depend which side of the stage you stood, when they played. One side always got more crowded hence the stage moving this year
