teeth whitening

I have the kit to do mine. It wasnt cheap - about £200 IIRC, you get the moulds done, then they make you a tooth guard, which you fill with the peroxide solution. Its dead easy, you just pop the peroxide laden guards on your teeth at bedtime. I can see a visible improvement after 3 or 4 days.Havent done mine for a while - because 1) I cant really be arsed, and I'm not that vain and 2) if you have sensitive teeth - prepare for hell. Coffe, tea etc will hurt like fook, and I didnt even dare trying ice cream.

There are 2 strengths of peroxide IIRC 15% and 5%. The 5% is a bit better, but the 15 makes me climb the walls.

Just whatever you do, do NOT get talked into having veneers done. There has been plenty in the press recently about this cosmetic treatment and quite often, the cons are not explained to the client by the money grabbing dentist until the removal of half the teeth has commenced so that the veneers can be attached to the now (never to be seen again, not that bad in the first place actually) teeth. They dont last either, you have to have MORE of your tooth/teeth removed every time you need replacements too.

Shudder shudder shudder. I am not going to google the images because I just cant bear thinking about how icky and stupid the whole process is.
