In fact I like all the Manchester Academies....

I think we have some cracking venues in Manchester. A lot of very good small ones.

I think as far as indoor stadiums go the MEN isn't bad either... I hear people moan about the acoustics but I have only notice that when I am in the nose bleeds...

GMEX / Manchester Central is shit...

yep, it's very close, but it's (the Scala) in Camden as far as I know.

not sure if it's the same, but I used to live in Kilburn High Road, where one side is Camden, and the other is Brent. This used to make the funniest of scenes on a Sunday night, when (in the old days....) Brent's pubs would close at half past ten, so there were loads of peole staggering across the road for an extra half hours drinking in Camden..

I heard that the Collesuem in Rome used to go off.

In more recent times, I used to love a trip up to the Marquee (the one off Waldour Street). Special because it was soooo small and used to have huge bands playing there.

Other than that, some of the usual suspects already mentioned. The Astoria, Brixton, Hammersmith Odeon, the Town and Country Club and special mention to the Brighton Dome too.

As far as Arenas go, of the one's I've been too I guess I'd put up with the Brighton Centre more than any other.

What the f**k are you on about, it's in Kings Cross not Camden Town, It's in Islington Borough not Camden Borough and I're explained how some people get confused as Kings Cross is both Camden & Islington so how does that make it in Camden.

In case you need anymore help with geography Cardiff is in Wales not England, Mexico is in North America not South America and you dick is on your head and not between your legs.

For someone who's totally and utterly wrong, those are some fairly strong words

Being a camden borough resident myself, I'm fairly sure thats a camden borough street sign on the side of the scala there.

Terminal 5 in Manhatten and The Music Hall of Williamsburgh in Brooklyn are both fantastic venues to see both large and small acts.

Locally I like The Sugarmill in Stoke and The Limelight in Crewe for awesome cheap nights out with deecent bands playing.

Point out the islington on it ....

I agree, I'm sick of it too. Its a stupid argument. But you've been fairly verbal in your attack on tonyblair when in fact he's totally right.

There's a camden borough sign on the side of the scala, and if you go on the camden website and put in the address then you can see that end of Pentonville road is in the King's Cross Ward of Camden Borough. You can even see who its camden borough counsillors are. Give them a call.
