this line up is so gorgeous, had to buy tickets and flight and hotel :-)

when do we know the timetable? there will be many clashes and i don't like to get in bands or be happy about bands playing which i won't see because of other favourite bands playing at the same time. i remember last year it was in april, or am I totaly wrong?

last year i remember they made a few heavy clashes, f.e. beach house vs. cocoRosie... and it was still packed at the beach house...

does anyone know if it's feasible to sell on a ticket for this? I bought a VIP ticket when they first went on sale last year but now I can't go. The ticket has my name on it but I don't know how closely it'll be checked - I went last year (with a non-VIP) ticket but can't remember if they asked for ID when I got my wristband...

Exactly what Bort said. Another option would be to try to find a hostel on Av Diagonal or nearby (the northern end, near the festival), and walk back after the festival - but there isn't much accommodation in that part of town, and I'm not sure if there are any hostels.

And then just generally wander round and listen to music and talk to people. I'm fairly antisocial but even I managed some conversations with randoms last year :)

Looking at organising my hotel over the weekend.

Looking at staying in the centre of Barcelona - hopefully get around town a little bit during the time we're there for some tapas and some beers.

Also looking central to be in between the two sites.

Anyone with any Barcelona hotel experiences / tips..?

  • 3 weeks later...

hi! i'm going again, last year was great. (again) best line up of the saison :-)

my question is how to get tickets for the auditorium. last year, we wanted to buy these 2euro-tickets for the concert of LOW, but they were all sold out at 15.30h p.m. then we had to queue for 90min and were lucky at the end to get in.

at what time you can buy these auditorium tickets??? 12h? 13h? later?
