hi robith, i was there for low as well, it was about 16.00h, and the tickets had all gone. i would be very happy to know if i have to get tickets at 12.00 or 14.00 or 15.00, knowing when to return from the beach

How much are different drinks?

How much would one be expected to spend in a reasonably excessive day at the festival?

This will be my first Primavera after a few years of considering it, can not wait.

Everything is booked up, will be arriving on Tuesday 24th for a week!

Would be interested to know the average cost of attending (spending at the festival) in comparison to UK/other euro festivals from anyone who has been?

I don't think so. The date of the final was known a long time ago, and it is really no surprise that barcelona is in the final... I think primavera is all about the music... at other rock festivals, people prefer football to music, but with primavera it is another thing. people from all over europe are there because of the music.

Having all the music shut off for a game would be a big disappointment. If people want to watch the match, they can go to any of the countless bars in the city to do it. The music is what thousands are coming from all over the world to see. Hopefully something can be worked out like the England vs Germany match last year at Glasto. Some watched it, while others watched Grizzly Bear et al.

so, a lot of changes... don't like having a card with me. i prefer money and tickets...

still waiting for the timetable. not happy about not knowing if i can see galaxie 500, mercury rev, john cale, mogwai, the album leaf, yuck... it does really make no sense being happy for 6 months to see galaxie 500 and then - 2 weeks before festival - getting to know not being able to see it because of clashes...

I got this from a post on Drowned in Sound. The guy who posted it seems to know his stuff (he's been before and done playlists and clash guides):

There is going to be a press conference on Thursday where they will release the new map and probably the timetable.

Both the LLevant and Ray Ban stages won't clash with the San Miguel but they will clash with each other.

The new area will not have a new VIP area, there will only be one VIP area it will be in the usual place.

I can't see anything either - there's nothing on Twitter or on the website.

Looks like a bigger food area than last time (the Pitchfork stage used to be where the lower food area was). The site in general looks more spread out, which should be good as it was quite crowded before.

They've started posting the lineup here.

Best I can tell from news around the web, there will be one screen showing the game, and no-one playing on the main stages at the same time as the game.
